Over the past several months, the salient issues surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) have been a hot topic of conversation. Through my experience as a financial professional, it has become clear how important it is to evaluate how many of these systemic inequalities have adversely affected an equitable distribution of wealth. These issues are extraordinarily complicated, and while I don’t feel that I will be the person to offer all the solutions, I know that a solution cannot be reached without starting a conversation.
